John Schutze – Author, The Accommodation. Former reporter for the Dallas Times Herald and The Observer and current columnist for D Magazine.

Maureen Armour – Recently retired from the SMU Dedman School of Law as the faculty’s co-leader of the law school’s civil clinic. Following law school, Maureen was a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Barefoot Sanders, who adopted and monitored a plan to desegregate Dallas ISD schools.

Peter Brodsky – Former private-equity investor and now owner and redeveloper of RedBird Mall, Peter has provided board leadership to education programs including Knowledge Is Power Program (KIPP).

John Creuzot – Dallas County District Attorney since 2019. He served for 21 years as a Dallas County Felony District Court Judge, earning a national reputation for his innovative work on drug courts, criminal justice reform and evidence-based sentencing.

Rev. Frederick Douglass Haynes III – Senior pastor at Friendship-West Baptist Church, where he is engaged in fighting against racial injustice, committed to increasing economic and social justice in urban areas and devoted to transforming the live of the disenfranchised.
